Alleviate - for times of stress

An effective combination of magnesium with boron & essential amino acids.

The NZ climate & pasture conditions are such that magnesium supplementation is essential.

A shortfall results in a wide array of symptoms & behaviours, some of which will surprise you (see 'Aspects of Pasture that can Adversely Affect your Horse' or visit www.horsemanshipNZ.com )

Defiiciencies also impair the growth & development of youngsters & have a huge bearing on long-term soundness.

Feed Alleviate when the animal is showing signs of muscle tightness, anxiety, excitability or in times of stress, eg - travelling, attending events, changing environments.  It is OK to temporarily double the dose during these times of increased requirement.  The ingredients in Alleviate are organic & soluble.  Excell will be excreted.

Alleviate-C - for maintenance

An effective combination of calcium, magnesium (1:1), boron & essential amino acids.

The calcium magnesium ration should ideally be nearer to 2:1.  The 1:1 ration in Alleviate-C allows for horses to obtain calcium from other sources in their diet such as lucerne or anothermulti-vitamin/mineral supplement.

Alleviate-C ProVides bio-available 'macro' minerals often lacking in soils, pasture & diets of our NZ horses.  'Macro' minerals are required by the body in relatively large amounts daily compared to 'trace' minerals.

When the animal is no longer tense, anxious or excitable, change from Alleviate to Alleviate-C which will assist in preventing deficiency of calcium & magnesium on a daily basis.

Especially feed Alleviate-C when pastures:

• are not being limed regularly (lime is calcium)

• comprise kikuyu or other tropical grasses which contain oxalates that 'bind up' calcium

• when there is no lucerne in the diet.

Tox-Defy - when on any kind of pasture

Natural yeast cell wall extract & vitamin E.

It is NOT a cure.  Tox-Defy is a helpful natural feed additive to prevent toxins in the feed.  It combines well with Vitamin E, which is a major anti-oxidant, interacting with selenium in muscle function & with Vitamin A in reproduction.
